Posted - 11/15/2010 : 13:55:38 Hello, I'm currently using the new trial of Strata Live 3D CX2 and I love it. I'm wondering if there's a way to get a live model to be shown on an ipad. Or other iOS device. I tried viewing a 3D PDF and it's just blank.
I guess it's because the iPad isn't Java enabled, and I may be asking the wrong party. But I was just thinking how amazing it would be to be at a trade show and pull up a live 3D model of our machines to show perspective customers.
The photo I attached is a crude concept of what I envision. :D

WebGL is on the roadmap (currently it's a Khronos standard, not a W3C standard). I'm not sure whether apple is supporting WebGL in iPad/iPhone yet, but it is in WebKit, so it will probably get there eventually.

This doesn't have to be an Ipad. I really think any Tablet PC would really wow some clients.
So, an addendum to my first question; Could Live 3D CX2 work on ANY touchscreen tablet?
