When I import art or type from Adobe Illustrator, the art is anchored to the bottom corner of the artboard size. Is there a way to change this anchor point to the center of the art. This is a must for animation.---Thom

Are you talking about the little blue point? If so, hold Ctrl (or command) while clicking and dragging the blue point. This point is the center for which all rotations rotate about... If that makes sense...

Great, thanks, I a new guy to 3D. I searched the tutorials & help file & found nothing. Is the "little blue point" called something besides an anchor point? Maybe that why I couldn't find a reference.

Yes, I'm sure it's named something different.
Center point maybe, I can't recall.
I'm also pretty new to this Thom,

Good Luck

The blue diamond point is often called the Center Point. It can be reset to the center of its geometry by clicking the Re-center button - top row, 2nd from left in the Commands tab of the Extensions Palette.

I think you'll find it's called the Origin Point in the manual. That's more accurate, but everyone will know what you mean if you say center point.
