 Bones jumping out of position

hello

I am trying to make a straw with bones to be able to fold it.

I recenter origin on the object and on the bones but when I link the bones to the mesh it's jumping out of position. any body what I am doing wrong?

I don't know why but after my 10th time trying I was able to get it work.

Just one more question how can I fix the root (lower bone) so that it doesn't move?

Bones are kind of finicky. It's best to not change the origin after you've attached for this very reason. In fact don't mess with the bone's origin, just leave it where it is.

If you don't want the bottom or base bone to move, then don't make it the root bone. Make the bone just above it the root.
