I need a clothed standing human figure or two to drop into a model to suggest scale. . .

I've looked at several sites and found nice looking models at
http://www.doschdesign.com/products/3d/Lo-Poly_People.html

Just what i am looking for but i don't need such a large collection . . .

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

You might see if the Strata People Resource models will work for you.

You could generate some people if you have Strata Foto3D. But it would require some ingenuity to get the photos of a person who is willing to hold still long enough to get all the views.

Also check out the Google 3D warehouse:

There are simple 3D people at the Google SketchUp warehouse in Collada .dae format. When you import them into Strata they will be invisible. Crank up the Stencil to 100% and Ambient light to 50% for each texture that imports to make them ready to render.

Some of these models are just 2D billboards, but there are also some 3D people in there as well.

Thanks Kevco - not sure how to use the Strata flat people . . Thanks Tbgriswold the SketchUp figures are more like what I'm looking for. For some reason though, the guy's head is there in wireframe but doesn't render . . . ?

Check the stencil channel for the head texture. It needs to be set at 100%
