Hey everyone. I'm fairly new to strata and have a question. Is there a way to slice a model every .25" or so, then export the slices into Illustrator? I am trying to build a 3D model out of cardboard by building up layers. Thanks in advance. Kory
Only thing I can think of is to use an antimatter object and take pictures of the cross-section as you move it. Then reconstruct in Illustrator using the images as templates.
An experiment would be to make the model one large polygon object, then Boolean with a subtracting cube, convert the whole thing over and over again until you have a set of polygon objects you can extract the flat face of and then export that. Very tedious. We need a true plane slicing tool to do this easily.
