Artist's Comments: Here is a wireframe and the UV layout for the Unsubdivided mesh. One thing I like about CX6.1.2 is that you can subdivide a fairly low resolution mesh and the textures dont stretch at the seams. SO, you can UV map a relatively easy lowres mesh, rather than a polygon-heavy subD’d mesh. Toby has been subdivided twice in Strata for the render.

Have worked through some snow leopard issues with Silo recently. Saw a few of your postings regarding this. As always, very clean Dale.

Thanks guys. UVmapping in Silo is not so very difficult, Fred. The trick is getting used to deciding where to place seams.

Very nice piece of art. You should give some lessons in UV mapping. I would pay for this.

Gosh, he looks pretty buff - I thought they were a pair of 5 pound free weights. Thanks for posting the UV layout Dasch, I always like to see them. Toby is a lovely bit of work.

Haha, thanks Ivan. They are supposed to be goblets - he’s a two-fisted drinker!

I like it Dale. I like the jetpack starting position of his hands!
